Stenham Limited is an international financial services group providing alternative asset management investment solutions, with assets under management of around US$ 5.5 billion (as at March 2012). In addition, the group’s fiduciary and finance business provides consulting and administration services to meet a range of client requirements.
Stenham Limited is 55% owned by Peregrine Financial Services Holdings Limited (the Peregrine Group) and 45% owned by management and directors of group companies. The Peregrine Group is a leading provider of wealth and alternative asset management solutions in South Africa and Europe, with assets under management of approximately US$ 9.2 billion (as at March 2012). Its shares are listed on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange.

Since 1982 Leon has been President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lion Country Safari, Inc, a major theme park in Palm Beach County Florida, USA.
Earlier directorships include Flextech plc, a UK listed company in the television industry. In 1958 he was admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of South Africa. Leon left South Africa 1971 for Europe and has since been involved in various business ventures in the USA and elsewhere.
